A Citizen Streamkeeper project was one of our earliest projects and was funded by a grant from the Santa Clara Valley Water District. We seek volunteers who like to walk along the creek and train them how to be streamkeepers. Once trained these volunteers identify issues such as spills, fish kills, trash, homeless camps, and more. By reporting these things early we can avoid some of the more serious consequences for the stream. We have developed a comprehensive streamkeeper manual which makes the job easy and enjoyable.

Wish List
We are always in need of items to further our work. This is a list of the things we are currently wishing for:
- The Council needs to find office space somewhere in our watershed and hopefully near Stevens Creek.
- Wading boots, small sizes for women.
- magnetic stirrer and bars
