In 2008 with the help of the Clean Water Team we began measuring bacteria levels using the IDEXX Colilert product. http://www.idexx.com/water/colilert/ We are doing this work in partnership with De Anza College and have had some interesting results already. We measure both Total coliforms and E. coli.

We are always in need of items to further our work. This is a list of the things we are currently wishing for:
- The Council needs to find office space somewhere in our watershed and hopefully near Stevens Creek.
- Wading boots, small sizes for women.
- magnetic stirrer and bars
