On January 8th I took a walk with Jeffrey Caldwell, a well known local plant expert, and Joanne McFarlin, to look at the area below the dam down to McClellan Ranch with a eye toward restoration potential.

We saw the good, the bad, and the ugly but at the end of the day we felt that there was a good deal of potential for improvement.
